This is my new dog Fritz. He is so much fun. He is a 4 year old Mini Schnauzer. My friend rescued him from being sent to the animal shelter where he would've been put down since they didn't have any room for him. Lucky for me she already has a dog and wasn't really interested in keeping him. I brought him home with me about 4 weeks ago and I haven't looked back. We love each other.
I was actually quite nervous about bringing him home. I have never had a dog before. Not even as a child. I would've gladly taken her kids before I ever thought of taking a dog. But somehow it has all worked out. I couldn't have asked for a better dog. He is already house trained and he is so easy to please. I got very lucky
This is how Fritz looked when I first got him. He hadn't been groomed for a while. A week after I got him I took him in to be groomed. I almost didn't recognize him when I came back to get him. He went from cute furry and very young looking to a cute old looking dog. He reminds me of an old man now.
This is how he looks now. Still cute but definitely different.

Chad and Heidi came out to see me for a week at the end of June. We had a lot of fun together. I'm sure that those who had to be around us were not as thrilled as we were. But we had so much fun. We spent one day in NYC and the rest of the time we just went around the local places and made our own fun. These pics are from our day in Cooperstown. We went to the Farmers museum and then to the art museum. We ended our day at the Fly Creek cider mill. We had a ton of fun. But I think we could have fun doing anything really.
