Video of the Wedding and Reception

I added this video to the others I did for them as a surprise. I hope they like it!

Ahhh, Now I can relax

Well the wedding went off without a hitch. I think it turned out pretty good. The nice thing for Marlene was that she had her whole family together again even if it was just for 2 days. It was pretty great seeing all of them together. Makes me miss my family. Here are a bunch of pictures from the reception.

Here are a few pictures of the decorating. I think it looked better then these pictures make it seem. A lot of work but everyone seemed to like it!

We had the pathway to the church lit with little lanterns. I thought it was such a nice touch.

Pat and Sandra's Wedding

So next week is Pat and Sandra's wedding. Sandra is Robbie's youngest sister. She asked me about a month ago if I would do all the decorating for her wedding reception. I have been crazily trying to get everything done one time. About 2 weeks ago my computer went down at home and I have been struggling ever since. I have been using my work computer to make their video for their wedding reception. I think it has turned out good so far. It's tough not having all the programs I'm used to, but somehow I am managing. Doing the video along with all the decorations has kept me pretty busy for the last month or so. Monday was the first night in at least two weeks that I actually stayed home. I have been running here there and everywhere. Since I live in the middle of nowhere, a shopping trip is not just a half hour thing. It takes me about 30 minutes to get to the nearest decent sized city with shopping. Of course if I want more options than Walmart and JC Penny then I have to go to Albany or Binghamton which is about a two hour drive. So it ends up being an all day affair. I do enjoy doing this kind of stuff, but I have to admit I will be happy once it's over. I know next week will be full of stress. Robbie says that he plans on making himself scarce next week. He doesn't want to be anywhere around since I will be stressed and his family will be even worse. It should be a nice reception though. I know Marlene must be looking forward to having her whole family back together for the first time in years. I don't know exactly how long it has been but I would guess the last time they were all together was when Sandra was still in College. So that would be at least eight years ago. Anyway here is part of the video that I put together for Pat and Sandra. I still have two more videos to do but at least it's a start.
