In the mood to Create

lately I have been in the mood to create and redecorate. I love to decorate and I have to change my decorations every few months. I am really happy with the way things turned out this time around.


When Robbie and I got our pictures done I was so excited. I wanted to put them on display. Robbie was good enough to go searching for old windows that I could use as a picture frame. When he came back with this one I was so excited. It even had the glass in tact still. After cleaning it up, sanding it and painting it, I think it turned out perfect. I love how it goes with the rest of my stuff.














Then one day after work I was in the mood for new curtains. So I went to work making this new shade for my bedroom window. I love the way it turned out. I didn't have a pattern, but I knew how I wanted it to look. I was pretty impressed with how close it came to the one I almost bought in the store.

















When my Mom was out here last time she was so good to me. I don't know why, but she thought she had to buy me thank you gifts for letting her stay with me. If anything I should be the one thanking her for coming out here. Anyway, she bought me these cute houses and the wood plaque that says"the good life" Actually if I'm being honest almost everything you see in this picture was given to me by my Mom. Doesn't she have great taste. She can come to visit anytime she wants to. I just need a bigger house so I can have more rooms to decorate.

I have to say thank you to my Lovely Sister Kristy. The other night I was sitting at home when my doorbell rang. Someone was here to deliver a beautiful Easter bouquet . To my surprise when I opened the card it was from Kristy. Isn't she so thoughtful. I love the flowers. Thank you Kristy for thinking of me. It really meant a lot. I love you!!!

My New Craft Room, Yippee!!!

I was so excited to finally get it all set up. I now have a room that is set aside just for the joy of scrapbooking and other crafts. Life is good. Robbie is so nice to have helped me put together this wonderful 8 foot long desk that is just perfect for all my crafting needs.

Happy St. Patty's Day

We had a totally Green dinner on Monday Night to Celerate St. Patty's Day! It was so much fun. It was actually kind of hard to eat food that was this green. We had a good time.

Ahhh the first day of spring is finally here!

It's the first day of spring and of course it's snowing!!! How would New York be if it were actaully warm on the fist day of spring?
